{"id":379,"date":"2012-03-04T10:35:26","date_gmt":"2012-03-04T10:35:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/edublog.me\/shapingmedia\/?p=379"},"modified":"2012-03-07T14:53:20","modified_gmt":"2012-03-07T14:53:20","slug":"mode-of-collaboration","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/edublog.me\/shapingmedia\/2012\/03\/04\/mode-of-collaboration\/","title":{"rendered":"Course: Mode of collaboration"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>For a quick poll some proposals &#8211; what form do you prefer this course to be?<br \/>\nPlease comment!<\/p>\n<p>(A) <strong>Courseware:<\/strong> Best for combining study with high RL workload and tight RL schedules.<br \/>\n\u2013 asynchronous communications only, preferably to resolve technical problems or to receive evaluation of solved tasks<br \/>\n\u2013 referencing other students&#8217; posts or communication with other students is optional<br \/>\n\u2013 tasks and projects to be tackled individually<\/p>\n<p>(B) <strong>Clubhouse:<\/strong> Best for regular RL schedules with moderate communicative load.<br \/>\n\u2013 mostly asynchronous communications, some synchronous sessions for clarification and brainstorming<br \/>\n\u2013 regularly given tasks tackled individually, but welcoming referencing and commenting on each others ideas<br \/>\n\u2013 projects tackled in groups or individually, according to preferences of language and interests.<\/p>\n<p>(C) <strong>Classroom:<\/strong> Best for connecting to other students, getting new ideas and orientations.<br \/>\n\u2013 regularly given tasks tackled in small groups or in cooperation by all students<br \/>\n\u2013 regular synchronous communications like text- audio- or video-chat, with collaborative working spaces like shared documents or mindmaps<br \/>\n\u2013 tasks and projects to be discussed, then tackled in small groups or the whole course.<\/p>\n<p>(D) <strong>I&#8217;d like it ot be like a&#8230;<\/strong><br \/>\nFeel free to propose something different or a mix of the above.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>For a quick poll some proposals &#8211; what form do you prefer this course to be?
